Legendary musician Tom Petty has died at the age of 66 after suffering cardiac arrest at his home in Malibu.
The 66-year-old had just finished a huge tour which wrapped at the Hollywood Bowl arena in Los Angeles last week.
Petty rose to fame in the mid-1970s with the Heartbreakers and went onto have success as a solo artist. In the late 80s Petty became a member of the Traveling Wilburys, creating music alongside icons George Harrison, Boy Dylan and Roy Orbison.
Petty’s most recent album with the Heartbreakers, Hypnotic Eye, was released in 2014.
