It’s not just film or TV that has the 66-year-old actor’s focus, but a star turn in luxury label Saint Laurent’s latest ad campaign.
The French fashion house tapped the American star, known for high profile roles in movies like ‘Scarface’ and ‘Dangerous Liaisons’, to appear in ads for its just-landed Summer 2025 collection.
Chosen by Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello and directed by David Sims, Pfeiffer suits up in sharp and chic tailoring.
The slightly oversized and meticulously cut looks are indicative of fashion’s love of tailoring in general right now, and Pfeiffer certainly makes a return to power suits seem incredibly appealing.
Strong shoulders and double breasted styles in the collection hark back to the dominant ‘Wall Street’ looks of the 80s, with even a tie or two thrown in for good measure. However, relaxed hair and makeup and the cool confidence and elegant attitude Pfeiffer displays so well, bring the looks bang up to date.
Saint Laurent’s choice of ambassador for the season follows in the footsteps of the brand’s unexpected but brilliant choice for its Spring 2024 campaign – legendary musician Diana Ross.
Michelle Pfeiffer was recently seen on the set of her upcoming AppleTV+ series Margo’s Got Money Troubles in which she appears alongside Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning. The series is created by David E. Kelley.
