As excitement continues to build for the launch of The Devil Wears Prada 2, its stars have been undertaking a glamorous world tour.
Given the focus of the film, it’s natural fashion should play a huge part in these promotional red-carpet premieres and media events.
But wow, Hollywood stylists have been working overtime, and we’ve been glued to the resulting dramatic looks this iconic cast has been serving.
Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci have appeared at numerous events to shine a spotlight on the movie before its April 30 launch. Each has largely been stepping out in outfits aligned with a red, black or white theme that mimics the movie poster’s famous glossy-red high heel.
Prada may be part of the movie’s name, so of course the Italian fashion house has appeared in that fashion roster, with Streep wearing a custom red Prada suit to a photo call in Seoul.
However, plenty of other top fashion houses have been well represented, with outfits from the likes of Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Givenchy, Saint Laurent, Schiaparelli, Balenciaga and more being worn by the actors as they help build hype for the new release.
The sequel to the hit fashion flick sees Meryl Streep return as the fearsome Runway magazine editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly, with Anne Hathaway also reprising her role as journalist Andy. Little is yet known about the exact storyline, but it’s sure to again feature wardrobes most of us can only dream about!
Meryl Streep is an acting talent almost beyond compare, but we’ve always admired her put-together style and sense of fun, too. She’s seriously leaning in with these recent appearances, so we’re celebrating some for her most dramatic and chic looks here.
As mentioned, the ensembles are also the considerable work and talented eye of top professional stylists. Streep has worked with Micaela Erlanger this time round on all her outfits, the New York-based celebrity stylist sharing details of each piece and some fun behind the scenes tidbits, on her Instagram page.
So is Streep channeling Miranda, or embracing her own style here? We think its a bit of both and we’re here for it. That’s all!
Gucci fab

The gang’s all here

Emily Blunt chose a sculptural Schiaparelli gown with a tiered tulle skirt, Tucci looked sharp in a velvet blazer and Hathaway looked playful in a bustier-style strapless Louis Vuitton gown.
Shirt dress chic

A buttoned-up navy shirtdress by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli gets the house’s signature twist thanks to a large sash belt and a variety of buttons as Meryl attends an event in Mexico City.
Devil’s in the details

The duo living up the their character’s fashion credentials, with Anne Hathaway wearing an outfit by Schiaparelli and Meryl once again going for a red suit and pussy-bow blouse, this time from Dolce & Gabbana.
Right as rain

The glossy trench is a glam all-weather option, as Meryl heads to do press in New York City in a shiny burgundy number by Adam Lippes.
Blue’s clues

A different look for the acting stars while visiting China, as Anne Hathaway embraces frothy volume by Susan Fang while Meryl opts for a satin coat dress by Anthony Vaccarello for YSL, setting it off with a major trend this season, a jewelled brooch by Cindy Chao.
Power suit perfection

Chanel has a major moment, combining the thematic red, white and black in a fringed jacket and skirt from the CHANEL Métiers d’art 2026 collection.
