The masterminds behind The Food Truck Park are throwing the biggest food truck festival Melbourne has ever seen from Wednesday 2 – Sunday 6 May. Held in the heart of the CBD in Birrarung Marr, the festival will be divided into North, East, South and West Melbourne, and festival goers can expect a diverse range of gourmet food trucks from each of Melbourne’s most popular neighbourhoods.
The Food Truck Park Directors, Frank Rusitovski and Dean Trpeski, are thrilled to take their festivals to the next level – “We’re excited to be bringing the biggest food truck festival to the heart of Melbourne. This great space will facilitate the largest line up yet of Melbourne’s greatest food trucks ever seen. Over the last four years, having created some of Melbourne’s bigges food events, our team are looking to make this one the biggest yet. We hope that it becomes a part of Melbourne’s major event calendar,” says Rusitovski.
Birrarung Marr is a contemporary park located on the north bank of the Yarra River and next to Federation Square – the perfect location for a festival of this size. The Food Truck Festival, known for providing the best quality food trucks, craft beverages and exquisite entertainment, will deliver a variety of tasty choices with over 40 food trucks – think cheese, fried chicken, tacos, Asian, vegan, beer, wine and plenty more. There will even be a district called Sweet Lane dedicated to just desserts, so get that sweet tooth ready!
