In the days before she was the Duchess of Sussex, and even Rachel Zane from Suits, Meghan Markle was a 'Deal or No Deal' "Suitcase girl".

As part of her role as a ‘Suitcase Girl’, Markle used to stand with suitcase number 24 as host, Howie Mandell asked guests to choose a case.

Markle stood next to suitcase 24 for 34 episodes in 2006. She left the following year to pursue other acting endeavours.

After filming the show, Markle commented that “I would end up standing up there forever in these terribly uncomfortable and inexpensive five-inch heels just waiting for someone to pick my number so I could go and sit down,”.

And now, for the first time, suitcase number 24 is going up for auction in Hollywood: A Collector’s Ransom Auction. The auction house expects the piece of royal history to sell for about £5,000 (approximately $10,000).

In addition to Markle’s case, the auction includes Judy Garland’s blue and white jumper from The Wizard of Oz and props from Marvel flicks, such as Captain America’s red, white, and blue shield and Iron Man’s robotic gauntlets. The auction closes December 19.
