Meghan Markle and Prince Harry joined Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday to celebrate a group of young leaders from across the world.

The Queen, 92, hosted an evening reception for change-makers across the Commonwealth of 53 nations loosely linked to the U.K. Prince Harry was named the organization’s Youth Ambassador just weeks before he and the Duchess of Sussex were married on May 19.

The Duchess of Sussex looked pretty in a blushy pink dress from Prada as she beamed with pride at husband, the Duke of Sussex, as he honoured those being recognised at the event.

The ceremony, which honored young people across the Commonwealth for their leadership and service, was a lot more formal than previous events the Duke and Duchess have attended together.

Former British Prime Minister Sir John Major introduced Harry onto the stage, saying he was “delighted” to see the royal with his new wife at the event just hours after he returned from Lesotho.

Harry told the crowd it was “honour” to be there, and confirmed it was the last year of the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards.

He assured that the “legacy of the programme will no doubt carry on for generations to come” as he praised the work “of the final group of exciting young changemakers from across the 38 Commonwealth countries,” the Mirror reports.
