Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry on Tuesday attended the WellChild Awards, which honors the achievements of children and young people with serious illnesses and their caretakers in London.

Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, has been a patron of the WellChild for eleven years. This year’s event marked the first time his wife Meghan Markle attended the yearly event.

“You have shown all of us what it means to be a champion – whether for yourself, your family, your community, or someone in need,” Prince Harry told the nominees during his speech.

During the event, the Duke revealed an interesting tidbit about the couple’s Disney movie-watching habits. As Rebecca English, royal correspondent for The Daily Mail tweeted, Harry said that he loves The Lion King, while Meghan has “always loved the Little Mermaid.”

Prince Harry is also a fan of Moana, saying that one of his most favorite moments from the movie was when “the chicken [Heihei] comes up and he finds himself out at sea in a boat.”

Markle also talked about the 2016 film Ballerina, explaining that, “Harry likes it because she [the main character] has got red hair.”

It turns out that Prince Harry and his nephew Prince George share similar tastes in film. In October of last year, Prince William revealed that his then-4-year-old son also loved The Lion King.

“He quite likes The Lion King,” Prince William explained to his young interviewer at the time. “We’ve watched that a few times.”

The couple also took time to meet with each of the nominees individually, and the pictures are just too cute.

Matilda, 7, (pictured above) has Spina Bifida and is paralyzed from the chest down, according to Kensington Palace. She talked to the Duke and Duchess about her dream of becoming a nurse.

According to royal reporters, she gave Markle a bouquet of white roses, but the Duchess picked one out and gave it back so Matilda could put it in her memory box. Prince Harry also made her pinky promise to “never stop smiling.”
