As production is halted for many movies and TV shows, some of them are ensuring their props are put to good use.

Medical dramas Grey’s Anatomy, The Good Doctor, and The Resident are all donating leftover medical supplies from filming to local hospitals.

The Resident donated items such as gowns, masks and gloves to Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital, with a rheumatologist at the hospital posting about her gratitude on instagram.

Meanwhile, Krista Vernoff, the showrunner and executive producer of Grey’s Anatomy and its firefighter spinoff Station 19, told E! News both shows will be donating their supplies.

“At Station 19, we were lucky enough to have about 300 of the coveted N95 masks which we donated to our local fire station. They were tremendously grateful. At Grey’s Anatomy, we have a backstock of gowns and gloves which we are donating as well. We are all overwhelmed with gratitude for our healthcare workers during this incredibly difficult time, and in addition to these donations, we are doing our part to help them by staying home,” she said.
