Hot on the heels of the first New Zealand MECCA concept store, which opened in Wellington last month, comes MECCA Auckland. The new space on Queen Street (formerly Topshop) melds MECCA’s existing Cosmetica and Maxima concepts into one large-format standalone beauty bazaar.
The makeup offering will include MECCA-exclusive cult-classic brands including NARS, Hourglass, Chantecaille and Stila, alongside Maxima favourites Urban Decay, Too Faced, Smashbox and MECCA MAX.
Skincare lovers will be able to explore a dedicated skin area with a compelling line-up of revered brands including Eve Lom, Drunk Elephant, Tatcha and Kate Somerville.
Beauty fans will also discover MECCA Perfumeria, a space devoted to the world’s most remarkable fragrance, plus Trove which highlights the most sought-after new brands.
MECCA’s dedicated Fragrance, Skin and Colour specialists will be available to shoppers looking to unearth new beauty favourites, and the inclusion of MECCA’s Beauty Lab and Play Bar concepts will provide customers with spaces to experiment with the latest products and learn new techniques.
MECCA Auckland will be the tenth in New Zealand’s MECCA store network, with the nearby Mecca Maxima at
191 Queen Street continuing to trade. The new MECCA Auckland opens Friday 21st September at 9AM and is located at 203 Queen Street.
