Auckland-based jewellery brand Meadowlark is extending its reputation for desirable matrimonial jewellery.

Having long offered a selection of unique engagement rings and wedding bands with a stylish edge in its permanent Ceremonial collection, the brand has now teamed up with a fitting collaborator on a new capsule range.

LVR Bridal is an Auckland bridal boutique for the fashion-focused bride, with a selection of less conventional but incredibly desirable styles by a handful of international designers.

The boutique was founded by founded by friends Jacque Shaw and Lauren Kay Hooper, after they found they needed to travel overseas to find the styles they were looking for to wear for their own weddings.

The two brands have now come together as Meadowlark creates a small selection of chic pieces in collaboration with LVR Bridal.

“This collection is all about celebrating connection and devotion,” says Claire Hammon, creative director of Meadowlark. “We wanted to capture the gravity of these emotions but in a way that feels modern, elevated, and personal,” she says.

It’s hard to look past the dramatic ‘Pave Till Death’ Ring—a bold band etched with the phrase ‘Till Death’ and adorned with 59 diamonds, but there is understated elegance too, in the form of pearl drop earrings.

In addition, the collection offers two customisable charms: A heart or a perfect circle engraved with ‘Till Death’, the LVR cherub, or initials of a loved one, set to be an ideal bridal party gift or other symbol of love and friendship.

“Working with Meadowlark has been such a beautiful fusion of ideas,” says LVR Bridal founder Lauren Hooper. She says the resulting pieces perfectly capture the essence of the LVR bride: “Confident, modern, and deeply romantic.”

Each piece is handmade in Meadowlark’s Auckland workshop and is available online and in the brand’s flagship store.
