How does 34-year-old Margot Robbie stay healthy inside and out? We look at the Margot Robbie’s wellness routine as well as her approach to fitness, skincare and makeup.
Her skincare routine is surprisingly simple
“For moisturisers, I love the La Prairie moisturiser and their eye cream is great too,” Margot revealed in an interview with Marie Claire. “I’m not a big fan of serums as my skin can be quite sensitive and sometimes it reacts to them but I do love facial mists,” she adds.
She doesn’t follow a strict exercise regime
“If I have the time, I like dance classes; it doesn’t feel like exercise to me. Or just playing sports with friends”, she told Harper’s Bazaar. “Sometimes I play tennis, even though I’m not that good. If I’m in L.A., I go see Andie Hecker. She used to be a ballerina, and she incorporates ballet techniques with a Pilates machine with weights.”
She uses an unusual foundation brush
“When I put on foundation, I use an eyebrow brush or toothbrush to brush it into my hairline so that it all blends,” Margot told Elle. “Especially because I have blonde hair but tanned skin, if I don’t blend it, it looks gross ― you can see the foundation in my hair.” She admits that she actually prefers not to wear heavy makeup, saying: “I’ll happily just go to dinner wearing tinted moisturiser.”
She detoxes daily
Margot starts every morning with what she calls “green stuff” – and what the rest of us call a green health drink. The 34-year-old describes her go-to drink as “an immune-boosting powder that you mix in with a bit of juice”.
She values sleep as part of her wellbeing routine
“I’ve got eye masks and sleep music and melatonin and lots of soothing scents. I do everything possible to try to sleep better,” she explains. “I can’t go home and fall straight asleep; it takes a long time to switch my brain off.”
