Margot Robbie, 27, has spoken of her friendship with Prince Harry, 33, on the Kyle & Jackie O Show. The Australian native said that, while the two were friends, they only “see each other every so often at a party here or there.”
“I wouldn’t say we’re close,” she added. When pressed as to whether she would be invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding, Margot said she was not expecting an invitation.
The pair met at a Suki Waterhouse Christmas party, where they were snapped in a photo with Cara Delevingne, Sienna Miller and Princess Eugenie that quickly went viral. Margot admitted to Jimmy Fallon that she didn’t recognise the Prince at first. “He got really offended,” she laughs. “He wasn’t wearing a crown though! Like, I don’t know it’s a prince!”
The Australian beauty said that she and Prince Harry exchanged numbers after the party and have remained friends since. “He’s pretty quick on text actually,” she told Hello Magazine in 2016. “Unlike me – I write back four days later, weeks later sometimes.”
