On Friday 15 December 2017 Makers and Merchants Twilight Markets are set to make a return to Goulburn, NSW.
The beautifully curated markets will once again take place in the grounds of the iconic St Saviour’s Cathedral on the last day of the school year, making it the perfect opportunity for families to unwind and relax in a celebration like atmosphere. With stalls both indoors and outdoors, the event will feature a wide variety of locally handcrafted goods and produce.
You will be spoilt for choice with the indoor market stalls showcasing fashion, jewellery, homewares and giftware as well as soaps and body care products from some of the region’s best, including Base Soaps, Rhapsody Design Co and Lush Soy Candles and Diffusers to name a few. This will be the perfect opportunity to purchase a unique Christmas gift.
Outdoors, the farmers market will return with everything needed to create a perfect Christmas dinner including locally grown fresh produce and local wines and meads. An outdoor eatery will be set up with a sausage sizzle and coffee van.
Entertainment will be aplenty with activities for children and music filling the air. A special visit from Santa is also on the cards with photo opportunities available for a small cost.
“We put a lot of time and effort into curating the event. Our focus is to bring together a number of local producers with products of exceptional quality” said organiser Skye Gwynn.
“Our aim is to create a market that has something for everyone, not just having a whole bunch of stalls selling the same thing.
“We were blown away with the positive feedback from last year’s markets from both the local community and stall holders and we are excited to be holding the markets again” she continued.
Once again Makers and Merchants will be working with a local charity to raise funds to put together hampers filled with much-needed items for those in need at Christmas.
