Oceania Riviera makes its New Zealand, Australian and South Pacific debut this summer, offering tropical escapes aboard Oceania Cruises’ elegant, luxury ship.

The Finest Cuisine at Sea? Tick. Exploring coastal gems right on your doorstep? Tick. Unforgettable chef-led culinary tours? Tick. Oceania Cruises’ luxury ship, Oceania Riviera is making its debut in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, with 14 to 35-day sailings from November 2025 to March 2026.

Voyages combine charming ports like Mystery Island in Vanuatu, Dunedin in New Zealand, and Kangaroo Island in South Australia, with iconic destinations such as Sydney, Singapore and Auckland offering travellers a perfect balance of discovery and familiarity.

With hundreds of excursions available, guests can choose how they wish to explore each port. Among them are chef-led Culinary Discovery Tours to local restaurants and vineyards or experiencing a destination through the eyes of local fishermen and farmers.

Oceania Riviera will offer exclusive itineraries with a gourmet foodie focus. Guests can explore the local culinary scene through a broad array of small-group shore excursions including visits to local markets, rice fields, and truffle farms, incorporating everything from Australia’s globally revered seafood to NZ’s world-famous lamb.

Oceania Riviera boasts eight gourmet dining venues, each providing a unique culinary experience. Jacques is a French bistro curated by Chef Jacques Pépin, the line’s first-ever executive culinary director. Waves Grill offers relaxed deckside diner-style dining, and Red Ginger features innovative to pan-Asian cuisine. Oceania Riviera boasts The Culinary Centre, a state-of-the-art cooking school where guests can take hands-on cooking classes inspired by regional flavours.

Guests can participate in cooking classes at sea in The Culinary Centre.

For the sailings, Oceania Cruises’ culinary team has introduced ‘Down Under Abundance’ at The Culinary Centre, inspired by the ingredients found in Australia and NZ with dishes celebrating the freshest offerings from the sea, the mountains and the vineyards.

“We are incredibly excited to bring Oceania Riviera to Australia and New Zealand for the first time,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer, Oceania Cruises. “This new chapter reflects our commitment to offering exceptional, immersive experiences … all voyages will offer travellers an unmatched opportunity to savour the finest local cuisine while exploring some of the world’s most iconic destinations in unparalleled comfort and style.”
