Louis Vuitton brings Cruise 2025 to Barcelona

Louis Vuitton brings Cruise 2025 to Barcelona
Louis Vuitton unveiled its Cruise 2025 collection in the Hypostyle Room of Antoni Gaudi's iconic Park Güell high on a hill overlooking Barcelona.

Cruise collections, also known as resort collections or holiday collections, offer customers a selection of pieces between the main seasons, often to inform holiday wardrobes as we jet off for a vacation nearer the end of the year.

It’s why presentations are often in exciting locations away from the cities where they usually show their collections. Recently Gucci presented its glamorous Cruise 2025 show in London, and Chanel headed to Marseille to show its range.

But it wasn’t just a sunny getaway informing creative director Nicolas Ghesquière’s Cruise 2025 designs, the designer exploring nods to both the past as well as futuristic elements.

Showcasing architectural volumes and fluid draping, the collection was an elegant exploration of contrast. Punctuated with Spanish accents, the ready-to-wear creations, bags, and accessories were embellished with embroidery, fringes, and ruffles. The collection introduced a number of new travel-inspired signatures for a house that has long celebrated its connection with those keen on exploration and voyage.

A-list guests and friends of the brand attending the show included Sophie Turner, Léa Seydoux, Cynthia Erivo, Ana de Armas, Naomi Osaka, Phoebe Dynevor and Saoirse Ronan.
