London is readying itself for the birth of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s third child, which is due on Monday 23. The road leading to the Lindo Wing, the private maternity ward where Kate will give birth, has been officially closed, with barriers set up and parking suspended.
Already fans have started waiting outside St Mary’s Hospital in west London for a glimpse of the new royal. Adorned in British flags, a number of dedicated people have set up tents on the sidewalk and made signs celebrating the exciting news.
Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were all born in the Lindo Wing.
The new baby adds to an exciting year for the British royal family, with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding next month on May 19.
