New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is one of seven inspiring leaders featured in Prince Harry and Meghan’s latest Netflix project.
The documentary series, titled Live to Lead, follows extraordinary leaders as they “reflect on their legacies and share messages of courage, compassion, humility, hope and generosity.”
Speaking in the Live to Lead trailer, executive producers Prince Harry and Meghan explains how the series came to be. “This was inspired by Nelson Mandela, who once said ‘What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived, it is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”
Other leaders in the series include former US Supreme Court Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who passed away in September 2020, climate activist Greta Thunberg, and anti-apartheid activist and former Justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa Albie Sachs.
Live to Lead is one of a number of projects in Harry and Meghan’s $100 million Netflix deal. The series premieres on 31 December.
