Lily-Rose Depp announced as the new face of Chanel Fragrance

Lily-Rose Depp, who turns 17 later this week, has just been announced as the face of Chanel’s to-be-launched fragrance, N°5 L’EAU. Depp, the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, has become a front-row regular at Chanel over the past few years and landed her first campaign for the French fashion house last  year as the face of the brand’s Pearl eyewear collection. As well as carving out a name for herself in the world of high fashion, the up-and-coming actress stars in three films soon to be released including La danseuse (The Dancer) which competed at the recent Cannes Film Festival.

The new take on Chanel’s most iconic scent, N°5, will launch in September and has been reworked by perfumer Olivier Polge – the name behind Chanel Chance Eau Vive and Misia. N°5 L’EAU is said to be the freshest, cleanest reinterpretation of the fragrance to date.

Dior teams with famed Spanish filmmaker Pedro AlmodĂłvar

Dior has written a new page in the story of the unique relationship the French Fashion house has forged with the world of film. Maison Dior collaborated with award-winning filmmaker Pedro AlmodĂłvar, dressing actress Michelle Jenner in a number of Dior outfits for AlmodĂłvar’s latest film, Julieta. Jenner appears on screen wearing eye-catching Dior creations including pieces from the fall/winter 2015 collection.

The film, which is based on three short stories by Nobel prize winning author Alice Munro, debuted last week at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. Julieta was selected to complete for the Palme d’Or, the festival’s highest award.
