Patricia Field created the enviable wardrobe for the new Netflix show.

Lily Collins specifically requested to wear many pairs of Christian Louboutin heels while filming her new show Emily in Paris.

The 31-year-old actress plays the titular character in the hit Netflix series, which follows the plucky influencer as she leaves America for the French capital when a job opportunity arises.

Former Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field was in charge of Emily’s enviable wardrobe, and she told Page Six Style that Lily had just one request when she was curating the chic outfits, as she only wanted to wear Louboutin’s signature red-soled shoes.

Patricia added that even the prospect of wearing sky-high heels on the cobbled streets of Paris didn’t deter the actress, and she praised Lily for her tenaciousness.

“I guess she managed, as she never expressed any difficulty in movement,” she quipped.

The 78-year-old also revealed that she was heavily inspired by the timeless style of Audrey Hepburn when pulling looks together for the show, and said one outfit in particular – when Emily is at the ballet – was a direct tribute to the late Hollywood icon.

“When I look at Lily Collins, I see a young Audrey Hepburn and I wanted to make a homage to Audrey, as I was a huge fan of hers,” she explained.

Emily in Paris is available now on Netflix.
