The palace has reportedly confirmed Catherine won’t be present for the Colonel’s Review, a rehearsal held the weekend before the main event.
It’s unclear if the princess will attend the Trooping the Colour ceremony on 15 June.
It comes as Catherine continues to undergo treatment for an unspecified form of cancer.
Meanwhile local media is reporting that King Charles will attend the event despite also undergoing cancer treatment.
He will participate in the parade in a carriage rather than on horseback, as he did in 2023.
Trooping the Colour is an annual parade which celebrates the birthday of the monarch. It has been held since 1760.
Originally, it was a practical way for soldiers to recognise their regiment’s colours on the battlefield. Over time, it has evolved into a significant annual event marking the official birthday of the British sovereign.
