Kate Middleton’s Mental Health Conversation
You are never too young to talk about Mental Health says the Duchess of Cambridge.

World Health Day is in the spot light as around the globe different events are being held to continue the dialogue around mental health in the community.

The Duchess of Cambridge will host a reception at Buckingham Palace for World Health Day on Tuesday 10th of October, along-side Prince William and Prince Harry. The event to celebrate those working in the mental health sector will be the first official appearance since the announcement of her third pregnancy, which was announced a month ago.

In a video released recently for the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families the Duchess said, ‘You’re never too young to talk about your mental health.’  Urging people to speak out when feelings get “too big to manage on our own.” She also implores people to check in with those around them. “Sometimes it’s just a simple conversation that can make things better.”.

The Duchess has actively supported mental health awareness throughout her time with the royal family. In 2016 she fronted the Heads Together campaign with Prince William and Prince Harry.
