The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Matteusskolan school in Stockholm yesterday with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel.
The four Royals met students who are part of the Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) programme, which educates children between 14 and 16 year’s old on mental health. Using role-play and dialogue, participants learn to understand the breadth of mental health issues and the importance of protecting their mental wellbeing.
The Royals took part in one of YAM’s mental health sessions, discovering how the Swedish mental health and education systems operate – and how the country’s youth respond.
Later that day, the group of four visited the NK Department Store to open an interactive exhibition of UK fashion and design brands available in Sweden.
They then arrived at Haga Palace for high tea with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel’s children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar.
To round off their Swedish visit, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated contemporary culture at an event at the Fotografiska Gallery. Kate looked stunning in another floral dress by Canadian designer Erdem.
The Duke and Duchess will now travel to Norway to complete their trip.
