Kate Middleton Dazzles In Princess Diana’s Tiara At State Banquet
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, continues to honour Princess Diana's legacy, channeling her late mother-in-law at a State Banquet Queen Elizabeth II hosted to honour Spain's King Felipe and Queen Letizia.

Wearing a pale pink, lace Marchesa gown with ruffled sleeves and a plunging neckline, Kate paired her regal gown with the Cambridge Lover’s Knot Tiara, which was one of Diana’s favourites. She completed her outfit with a King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Bandeau diamond and ruby necklace, which she borrowed from the queen, according to The Daily Mirror.

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out with Prince William and Prince Harry, who attended for the first time, to join Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip for the evening. Escorting guests, the Royal Family dined on dishes such as Poached fillet of salmon trout with fennel in a white wine veloute sauce, Scottish beef medallions with bone marrow and truffles and Dark chocolate and raspberry tarts according to The Daily Express.

The opulent room itself was adorned with light and dark pink roses and peonies and golden candelabras also.

The Countess of Wessex’s String Orchestra provided unusual background music which included Coldplay and the theme from the James Bond film Skyfall.
