English actress Kate Beckinsale has won Best Actress for her performance in the action-comedy, Jolt, at the recent National Film Awards in London.

The actress also scooped up the same accolade for her role in Farming back in 2021.

She accepted her trophy in a glittery silver dress by Julian McDonald, which she paired with Sophia Webster ‘Rita’ sandals.

Speaking on the red carpet at the National Film Awards in London, Kate chatted about her love for English culture – something she misses dearly whilst living in Los Angeles.

Admitting that she ‘can’t stop watching’ the reality series, Love Island, she joked that ‘her family would never let her sign up’.

When asked if she would enjoy being on the show, Beckinsale said ‘It looks like hell and just the worst thing to be on. First off, I don’t like dating, and, second, I don’t like being at a pool with lots of people that I don’t know.’

But she added of the villa: ‘It’s like watching a true crime and you can’t stop it. It’s a bit like a car crash.’
