John Travolta, who remained close friends with Newton-John, has led tributes to the star on social media after news of her passing.

Newton-John’s glow spread far and wide. American actress and model, Brooke Shields shared a post on Instagram that read “A true class act whose light shined everywhere she went… she inspired us all. A wonderful mother and wife, who was grace and strength personified. Sending all of my love to Olivia’s family and friends. She’ll never be forgotten.”

Netwon-John has been offered a State funeral in Australia to celebrate her ‘amazing contributions’ said Victorian Premier, Dan Andrews.
“She took her cancer journey and used that to save lives and change lives, and that’s just a deeply impressive thing,” Andrews said.
“As a lasting testament to her character and her generous spirit, we have the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre.
“The research that’s done there, the treatment, the care, the love and support that is central to that place is a lasting legacy to the person that she was.”
