I kissed her (poster) every night before bed. Her legacy will only grow stronger in the years to come. A fighter for healing from cancer that knows no bounds. I love you Olivia.”

“Thank you Olivia Newton–John for being my very first crush .. and for helping this boy through a really rough time .. my imaginary friendship with you, which lasted from 1978 until 1980 helped me to deal with the fallout of my parent’s divorce .. You always put an arm around me and told me it would be ok and you sang hopelessly devoted to me… I even went to watch Xanadu in the cinema with my mate Tom Swan .. we both left saying how brilliant and beautiful you were even though we didn’t understand what the hell was going on… Rest in peace and in power dear ONJ. And thank you.” shared English Guitarist, Ed O’Brien.
Musician Elton John also shared his condolences to her family and loved ones.
Netwon-John has been offered a State funeral in Australia to celebrate her ‘amazing contributions’ said Victorian Premier, Dan Andrews.
“She took her cancer journey and used that to save lives and change lives, and that’s just a deeply impressive thing,” Andrews said.
“As a lasting testament to her character and her generous spirit, we have the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre.
“The research that’s done there, the treatment, the care, the love and support that is central to that place is a lasting legacy to the person that she was.”
