Jodie Foster has married her girlfriend of one year, photographer Alexandra Hedison, according to a rep for the Oscar-winning actor.
As reported by E! News, the couple tied the knot last weekend.
The notoriously private Foster (51), long rumoured to be gay, only came out last year during her acceptance speech at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, acknowledging her “ex-partner in love” Cydney Bernard, with whom she shares two sons.
Foster joked that “I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the Stone Age.”
Hedison, 44 previously dated Ellen DeGeneres about a decade ago. She appeared most recently in the Showtime series The L Word.
