The Olivier Awards are the most prestigious awards in British theatre, presented annually by the Society of London Theatre to honour outstanding achievements.
The awards were first introduced in 1976 and are named after Sir Laurence Olivier, the legendary British actor and director.
The awards recognise excellence in all aspects of theatre, including acting, directing, writing, choreography, design and technical production.
