Jamie Oliver and wife Jools have welcomed the arrival of their fifth child, a boy to add to their brood.

The family posed for their first family photo after leaving the Portland hospital earlier this week.

The baby boy will join his brother Buddy Bear Maurice, and sisters, Poppy Honey Rosie, Daisy Boo Pamela and Petal Blossom Rainbow.

No word yet on the name of the new addition.

Jamie shared the beautiful photo of his new son, writing: “He arrived safely. Mum … was really really amazing, unbelievably composed, natural birth and my two eldest girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born which was amazing to witness. Very, very emotional.”

Making sure the baby boy was indoctrinated into the culinary hall of fame from an early age, Oliver told fans that his brand new son weighed in at “8lbs (that’s 16 packs of butter for you bakers out there),” before signing off for the night.

Jools Oliver posted this beautiful and touching photo to her own Instagram, thanking her husband, and sharing the role her two eldest daughters played in the birth.

“So very proud of our two eldest daughters who cut the cord.”

Jamie previously stated that the new edition will also be the last.

“I mean, it’s just getting ridiculous otherwise,” he said. “This was not expected, I can’t even believe I’m saying it. I think my own family were like ‘Really?’

“I do what I’m told, but she’s an amazing family maker, and I just go with it!”
