As we embrace the season of change, our spring issue of STYLE has arrived, rejoicing in the opportunity for new beginnings in the world of fashion, design, culture and travel.
“While it has undoubtedly been a challenging few months, for many of us, the year to-date has also served as a much-need catalyst for change,” says editor Nicole Saunders. “It was been a time to reflect, rethink and reshape what the future might look like for all of us – the fashion world being no exception.”
We explore this idea in our fashion feature, hearing from a young group of women who are pioneering change within the fashion realm. We also play with tonal shades of off-white and budding floral print, and go behind the lens with Gucci’s Alessandro Michele.
Actor Tracee Ellis Ross graces the STYLE fashion cover, getting candid about the road towards stardom under the spotlight of her mother Diana Ross. We chat to celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkin and showcase the season’s newest scents.
We also step inside a beautifully-renovated 18th-century Parisian home, talk to the woman behind artist marketplace Makers’ Mrkt, and spend a weekend away in the North Island’s adventure-capital, Taupō.
Following up from last season’s popular men’s cover, we feature Kiwi actor Antony Starr in one of our three covers. Starr, who is making waves in Hollywood in his hit-show, The Boys talks about his rise to fame from Outrageous Fortune to superhero stardom, as well as navigating life in the glitz and glam of LA.
The new issue is on sale Monday 21 September.
