Inside The Issue: STYLE Spring/Summer 2027
Ready for some new energy? Dive into a spring and summer full of new ideas and fresh inspiration, courtesy of the brand new issue of STYLE.

For this new issue we’ve captured the best bits of shopping and dressing for the warmer weather, but we’re also celebrating how we want to live in summer too.

If you’re like us, that means doors wide open, basking in the sun – or soaking up that beautiful dusky glow after dinner – as we enjoy our spaces with friends and loved ones.

This energy is carried across the magazine in the form of home and design inspiration, resort fashion, easy beauty moves to add to the repertoire and event travel inspiration that encourages unstructured wandering.

It’s a collectable issue that will endure, designed to grace your coffee table as you dip in and out over time – hopefully with your feet up!

HOME AND DESIGN

We’ve got some incredible home tours in this issue that embrace that desirable indoor/outdoor living we love, just in different ways.

Ibiza may be famed for its party scene, but a a chic modernist home overlooking the Mediterranean has the precision and sleek style of an elegant city dwelling. With radiant sunshine and endless blue skies, its interior designer has added warm, tactile touches and pops of colour that help connect the home to its island setting and create a calm, welcoming feel.

Similarly in Capri, the beauty of surrounding landscapes demand its owners spend much of their days outdoors, but you’ll agree the tiled terraces and pool mean it’s not a hard ask.

Speaking of tiles, the rooftop terrace of a Marrakesh riad is done in a vivid palette of blues, sun-drenched oranges and acidic greens, and that’s not even the most dramatic colour feature of the home. That belongs to the intense, electric Majorelle Blue that envelops what was formerly a grey concrete cube. The transformation is wild.

FASHION

There’s a carefree vibe to summer that makes whimsical or daring elements seem like so much fun, rather than a step too far. You’ll notice this approach is filtering into fashion in general right now and the timing is right for those of us down under to get a little playful.  Don’t be surprised when you catch the infectious spirit of our polka-dot fashion editorial, full of spotty summer styles.

If a getaway is on the horizon, STYLE’s swim and resort fashion will help you pack and if you just want cool, laid-back layers (crochet and scalloped hems!) there’s plenty to pore over too. Prepping for party season? We’ve got you. Discover dresses that will make you want to shimmy the night away, even if you lose a sequin or two.

BEAUTY

In this issue we also decided to capture that blissful mood of summer’s golden hour in our fashion cover and beauty forecast. You’ll see it draws from a touch of Dolce Vita glamour, softened by the kind of relaxed, adjusted-for-Aotearoa approach that will work minutes after walking in off the sand, shortly before heading out for the night. Get the look with the season’s must-try products.

ACCESSORIES & WATCHES

Desirable bags, shoes and jewellery are the icing on the fashion cake, so rest assured we’ve devoted plenty of attention here too. An in-depth watch report shares the latest trends in the horological world and some notable new developments to know about.

TRAVEL

In Concierge, we take a trip to Barcelona, taking in those famous landmarks but also the independent stores, inventive restaurants and design-led hotels shaping the city.

We hope you enjoy the issue.

STYLE Spring/Summer is available with two different covers, and is available in all good book stores and supermarkets from Monday September 28, 2026, and online at MiNDFOOD.com.
