Welcome to the July Issue of MiNDFOOD, our annual Food, Drink & Travel Edition. Inside you’ll find tempting holiday destinations, ‘delicieux’ French meals to create, and our favourite New Zealand reds for sharing this winter.

Our cover star this month is actress, director, talk show host, author and businesswoman Drew Barrymore. At 49, she has chalked up more than 40 years in showbusiness since appearing in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial at the tender age of six. Today, the mother-of-two helms successful chat show, The Drew Barrymore Show. Outside of work, she is a cookbook author who adores trying new foods from around the world: “I’ve always been enchanted by geography and the dividing line between who we are and where we live. Food is always defining … as much as language and culture are.”
