Health

A key feature of our health section delves into the topic of Menopause. While a common experience, perimenopause and menopause can bring up a huge variety of ideas and experiences, particularly around treating its symptoms. An experienced medical practitioner with a thirst for scientific evidence, Dr Jo Skinner sheds light this issue on the conflicting advice, drawing on the experience of her own patients and giving her medical opinion on the treatment of menopausal symptoms.  It’s a fascinating read, and our beauty section also delves in the hair changes that can be bought about by the hormonal changes of menopause too.

Elsewhere there is a look at the surprising benefits of a good cry, a useful article on dealing with the clutter in our lives for more clarity and space for what matters, and emerging biohacks for longevity that promise to add life to your years.

One person’s experience of young on-set Parkinson‘s gives new insight to living with the condition.
