Gisele retires

As catwalk struts go, model Gisele BĂĽndchen’s final sashay down the fashion runway for Colcci at Sao Pauo Fashion Week on April 15 was an emotionally charged moment as the supermodel found herself embraced and applauded by her fellow models.

BĂĽnchen, 34, formally announced her retirement from runway modelling this week on Instagram.

“I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey,” BĂĽndchen wrote. “Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business.”
