Inside Putin’s Holiday Home

Russian President Vladimir Putin has an opulent new holiday home on an island in Vyborg Bay.

Located near the Russian-Finland border, the villa was built in 1913 and is under construction to meet Putin’s tastes. 3D images of the mansion’s intended design depict a sauna, billiard room, study and large indoor swimming pool. Lavish gold-plated tiles and ornate ceiling decorations deliver a luxury look to the impressive home.

Putin holidays on the island approximately once a year. An extensive fence surrounds the property to ensure his privacy, and the island is under heavy surveillance reports The Daily Mail.
