This February Ingrid Boot will be exhibiting  a series of paintings involving seduction, mystery and danger entitled Film Noir. Originating in the 1940’s this dark genre has inspired a new body of work by the artist.  Almost every Noir film is about the girl and the obsessed men that will do anything to get her.This beautiful and deadly femme fatale alongside stunning historical Auckland locations has brought Film Noir to life in Ingrid’s paintings. 

 

Where: Bread & Butter Gallery, 26 Albert Street, Whitianga

How: There will be two DC3 day return flights to the show in Whitianga departing from Ardmore Airport and returning the same day on Saturday 17th February and Sunday 18th February.  Tickets are available for purchase for $125pp through www.flydc3.  These tickets sell out fast so get in quick to book your place.

When: Preview 10am Saturday February 17th.  Show runs until March 3rd.
