Hundreds of canines from around the world are competing to take out the title of ‘top dog’ at the 2020 Westminster Kennel Club dog show.

The event has been held annually in New York City since 1877.

The WKC dog show is the second-longest continuously held sporting event in the United States behind the Kentucky Derby.

The club’s mission is to “celebrate the companionship of dogs while promoting responsible dog ownership, health and breed preservation”.
