The shows, which will be held on the platform of Dunedin’s historic railway station on April 24 and 25, will also include an international guest designer (yet to be named) as well as the iD Emerging Designer Award winners and highlights from Otago Polytechnic’s graduate fashion designers.
A new section is also being added to the shows next year in which all participating designers will design a one-off creation from leathers and suede provided by deer leather specialists, New Zealand Light Leathers who supply some of the world’s leading luxury fashion brands.
“Innovation in design was a strong theme,” says Enting. “I have no doubt that it will be an exciting catwalk show that will inspire.”
Tickets to the shows go on sale on December 2.
