The 76-year-old Dame donned a sequined suit and bold eyeliner as she joined other celebs on the L’Oreal runway.
Paris Fashion Week has started with a bang, with celebrity guest stars taking to the runway for L’Oreal.
Dame Helen Mirren was among the celebrity ambassadors for the French cosmetics brand, strutting her stuff on the runway in front of the Eiffel Tower. The Academy Award-winning actress stunned with a bold, black eyeliner look, paired with a tailored silver sequined suit and statement earrings.
Mirren was joined by singer Camila Cabelo and actress Amber Heard. Cabelo donned a floral, ivory gown, while Heard wore a plunging pink jumpsuit with feathered shoulders.
The catwalk showcased L’Oreal’s spring-summer 2022 range, while also celebrating its 50th birthday. L’Oréal Paris Global Brand President, Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, said this year is inspired by the theme of female empowerment and diversity.
“This year’s ‘Le Défilé’ will be a remarkable platform for women’s empowerment, conveying a strong message of self-worth and disrupting the conventions of typical runway shows by inviting the public to join the Stand Up Against Street Harassment program. Celebrating our feminine and feminist vision, the show will be a rallying cry for all women — and also men — who share these convictions.”
Mirren has recently been doing the rounds at Europe’s fashion weeks, recently turning heads Venice with her stunning gold bodiced Dolce & Gabbana gown. She stars in the new Fast & The Furious film, F9: The Fast Saga and has a number of other films in the works.
