Gucci has joined forced with iconic luxury department store, Liberty London, for a special online-exclusive collection.
Founded in 1875, Liberty London’s Tudor revival department store has been at the forefront of cultural collaborations, design and luxury curation for over a century.
A cultural institution in itself, Liberty London has been described by Oscar Wilde as the “chosen resort for the artistic shopper” and pioneered the ‘Liberty Style’ Art Nouveau period in Italy.
Given its fashion and cultural significance, its no wonder Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele chose to collaborate with the luxury department store in their Fall/Winter 2020 collection of accessories and ready-to-wear.
Now, Gucci has expanded its ‘Gucci Liberty’ line with a new collection, available exclusively online.
The online-exclusive collection features inspiring floral interpretations of Gucci’s classic pieces, using Liberty London’s expertly-curated archival floral prints.
The much-loved Gucci Horsebit 1955 bags has been reimagined in the graceful Liberty print with the signature leather handle emblazoned with ‘Gucci Liberty’.
The collection also features a Horsebit card case, shoulder bag, ballet flats and oversized sweatshirt.
