Stick to a routine
The Aussie superstar says she is “very diligent about skincare”. Being thrust into the spotlight at a young age meant that she had to quickly learn how to care for her skin after wearing thick makeup for work.
“I started wearing heavy TV makeup as a teenager,” she says. “So I’ve always washed my face and I always use a muslin cloth or a face cloth. Exfoliating is important of course.”
SPF is non-negotiable
No doubt you’ve heard this beauty tip many times over, but here’s your reminder from Ms Minogue. “I always use sunblock,” she says.

Nourish from the inside out
As a seasoned performer who loves to dance, Minogue is fit and fabulous, so it’s no surprise to hear that she also follows a healthy diet. But the food she eats is also a major part of her beauty routine. “Then there’s the health side – I try to eat well,” she says.
Get help from a professional
Minogue recommends investing in the services of a professional to maintain healthy skin. “A good dermatologist who will give you some good treatments is important too,” she says. “I love a laser treatment to stimulate collagen – it’s non-invasive. But on a side note: I’m the worst at booking these things, but when you can find the time, do it!”

The singer says these days we have more freedom to do what works best for us. “We’re so lucky now, with what’s available to all women of all ages – you can really make the most of what you have … I think we’re now accustomed to seeing different types of beauty on different types of people. Find what works for you and don’t be afraid to experiment!”
