Taking cues from mid century couture, Jayson Brunsdon showcased a very special collection at MBWA yesterday. Trapeze dresses, bolero jackets and exaggerated necklines accented the show, which was inspired by 1650s and 1960s cinema.
Australian favourite Lisa Ho was another designer influenced by sportswear, the Albury-born Sydney-based designer presenting an polished line of elegant evening dresses and crisp white shirts and jackets, teamed with sporty skirts and tank tops.
Meanwhile, Perth talent Kym Ellery presented her Renegade collection, featuring long, streamlined skirts and oversized fur gilets. Gold, black and cream was the colour palette of the day.
