Better known for head-turning, floor sweeping red-carpet gowns regularly worn by celebrities, Lebanese fashion house Elie Saab is turning its attention to design in another area.
Blending alpine charm and modern luxury, The Post Hotel & Residences by Elie Saab is a partnership with Swiss architectural studio and developer A++ Group.
The hotel is due to open in 2027 in the charming Swiss mountain village of Andermatt, known for picturesque views and access to top ski-slopes and hiking trails.
Rather than a complete build, the hotel involves refreshing the existing Hotel 3 Könige Und Post. The project will preserve the 18th-century chalet-style charm in the landmark that dates back to 1788, while adding a number of further buildings to the property. There will be 21 hotel rooms and 19 luxe residences, each making the most of natural woods, plush fabrics, and light-filled spaces.
A pool, spa and wellness area are included in the hotel.
