Director Tim Burton adds his special brand of whimsy and eccentricity to the latest film adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Australian actor Mia Wasikowska stars as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the fantasy world she first encountered (but doesn’t remember) as a young girl, reuniting her with childhood friends the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp). Spectacular visuals and captivating performances make this a must-see film for adults and children alike. Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter also star.
