FaceApp challenge: Celebrities reveal what they will look like as seniors

FaceApp Challenge
A new AI photo-editing app, FaceApp, is letting people stare into their futures, and not in a good way. And of course, several celebrities have come out and shared how the will look decades from now in what's been called the Celeb FaceApp Challenge.

A photo editing app has resurfaced with new, updated technology that realistically ages photos and has caused a new celeb sensation – the FaceApp Challenge.

FaceApp gained popularity in 2017 with its age filter which applies wrinkles and grey hair to photos uploaded through the application. Now it has undergone a few upgrades and anyone with the App can realistically age themselves.

We take a look at a few celebs who have taken on the challenge – and to be honest – some should be worried.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay hopes to still be in the kitchen decades from now: “Me doing a demo on MasterChef Season 50,” he captions his contribution to the FaceApp challenge.

Sibling band Jonas Brothers shared this snap on Instagram, captioning it “When you take a trip to the Year 3000.”

One pair of celeb A-listers who tried the app out – and actually ended up looking pretty sweet together is Carrie Underwood and retired NHL star, husband Mike Fisher.

The very handsome Dead to Me star, James Marsden looks like he may just hold on to his good looks as he ages.

Harry Potter author, J. K. Rowling was even given the treatment by fans on Twitter.
