Everything You Need To Know About The Vampire’s Wife x H&M Collaboration

Beloved by Duchess Kate and adored by fashion-lovers, UK designer The Vampire’s Wife is launching their first-ever collaboration with H&M this October.

Known for their feminine silhouette with a dark edge, the collection of bold and glamourous pieces celebrate women and the female form.

“H&M went to great lengths to bring the dark and sensual world of The Vampire’s Wife to life,” says Creative Director and Designer Susie Cave.

The collection’s statement pieces include a lace mystique dress, velvety mini dress and a gorgeous silvery lace cape. Sustainability is at the forefront of the collection, with all the garments made from recycled nylon and polyester.

The dreamy collection also features exquisite accessories, including ear cuffs, fingerless gloves and vampire-teeth emblazoned pendants.

The Vampire’s Wife X H&M collection launches in stores on 22 October 2020.

Designer lowdown: The Vampire’s Wife

Who is this designer the royals adore? The Vampire’s Wife was launched by British designer Susie Cave in 2014. Cave is also the wife of musician Nick Cave and the brand’s name is inspired by one of his abandoned book projects. Since its launch, The Vampire’s Wife has garnered a large cult following – loved for their romantic and ethereal designs, delicate patterns and luxurious fabrics like velvet, silk and chiffon.

Duchess Kate and Princess Beatrice have both been seen in the Vampire Wife’s collections.

Karen Walker Opens Britomart Playpark Store and Drops Dreamy Nautical Jewellery Collection

Nautical whimsy and seafaring adventure are at play in Karen Walker’s latest jewellery collection.

The Navigator Collection celebrates “all things nautical and sea-going” with a series of delicate pendants, signet rings and voyager earrings.

The iconic Runaway Girl is reimagined in delightful seafaring designs, swapping out her bag for a nautical burgee and donning a sailor’s cap and Plimsoll shoes.

“I grew up on the water and I wanted this collection to reflect that sense of tradition and romance that boating life always evokes for me,” says Walker.

Alongside the launch of the jewellery collection, Karen Walker’s Britomart concept store Playpark opens its doors this Friday 16 October.

Located on the ground floor of the beautiful Hotel Britomart, Playpark showcases the designer’s latest collections, curated edits of cult classics, special collaborations and exclusive pieces from Karen’s favourite brands, such as Levi’s, Veja and Lacoste.

The Navigator arrives on 14 October in stores and on and Playpark Britomart opens 16 October.
