Everything you Need to Know About New Zealand’s First COS Store

Following the announcement of New Zealand’s very first COS store, the London-based fashion brand has revealed that it will open its local doors at Westfield Newmarket, in March.
New Zealand’s first COS store will be spread across two levels and will house the latest season men’s, women’s and children’s collections.
The space will reflect COS’ core minimal aesthetic and will feature locally sourced materials.

The two levels will be connected by a custom-made spiral steel suitcase, which will enhance the grey terrazzo tile flooring.

Known for its timeless, reinvented classics, COS values fashion that lives beyond the season, offering collections with modern and timeless aesthetics, inspired by the worlds of art and design.

The Best-Dressed Celebrities at the BAFTAs

It’s usually our favourite silver screen and television stars that steal the show on the red carpet at the BAFTAs. But this year all eyes were on Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, as she turned heads in a familiar Alexander McQueen gown.

The Duchess, who was accompanied by Prince William, wore a breathtaking white gown embroidered with golden hibiscus flowers. The look was first sported by the Duchess back in 2012, when she wore the floor-sweeping gown to a state dinner in Malaysia. While the Duchess has a penchant for wearing gowns more than once, the move was aligned with the BAFTA’s new sustainability efforts.

In January, the organising body announced its decision to encourage guests to opt for more environmentally friendly fashion choices. – Guests were provided information from the London College of Fashion’s Centre of Sustainability to help guide their decisions.
