The star’s upcoming holiday film ‘Falling for Christmas’ releases on Netflix on November 10, 2022
In the film, Lohan plays a newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress who gets into a skiing accident, suffers from total amnesia and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner (Chord Overstreet) and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.
‘Falling for Christmas’ was filmed in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City.
Fun fact! Lohan became engaged on November 28, 2021 while filming the movie.
Lohan’s second film as part of the deal is ‘Irish Wish’.
Ed Speleers, of ‘Downton Abbey’ fame, joins Lohan in the movie, set to be released in 2023.
When the love of her life gets engaged to her best-friend, Lohan’s character Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be.
