A Chanel runway show always comes with a surprise and this year it came it the form of a rocket – one that was launched at the show’s finale. It was only fitting that creative director Karl Lagerfeld donned models in astronaut-inspired silver and space-age shawls and boots. With over 90 looks parading the catwalk it’s impossible to pick a favourite but Lagerfeld’s metallic emerald take on the trench coat has to be at the top of the must-have list.
