Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice Celebrate at Award Ceremony
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice joined Prince William at the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

The Duke of Cambridge joined royal sisters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in celebrating winners of the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. 3408 young people gathered on the grounds of Buckingham Palace to accept the special award.

The royals spent time talking to the award recipients and congratulating them on their achievement. Eugenie, who is set to marry fiance Jack Brooksbank in autumn, looked radiant in a floral dress from Alice + Olivia.

The Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award is a youth achievement award given to those who have shown teamwork, commitment and leadership across four areas: Expedition, Physical and Skills, Volunteering and Residential. It takes an entire year to complete.

The Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award has been awarded more than 288,000 times since 1956.
