End of an era: ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ to finish next year
After what will be 14 years and 20 seasons, Keeping up with the Kardashians is coming to an end.

Members of the family announced the news in a post to Instagram, saying they had made the “difficult decision” to say goodbye to the reality series.

“We are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children,” read the family’s statement.

“We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”

The statement went on to thank all the people “that have been a part of this experience”, and said the last season will air early in 2021.

In her own post to Instagram, Kim Kardashian added to the statement, saying without the show she “wouldn’t be where I am today”.

“I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years,” she said.

“This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever.”

Khloe Kardashian also posted the statement to her page, and said she was “too emotional to fully express myself at the moment”.

“My sappy post will come soon,” she said. “Change is hard but also needed at times. I love you all.”

Family matriarch and ‘momager’ Kris Jenner thanked fans for “joining us on this crazy ride”.

Season 19 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is set to air on E! on 18 September.
